CONTINUED!
It's
time for the TPUFO Society Field Trip! Before meeting everybody, Nimitz asks
Jack not to use his "ray gun thingie" during the trip. Jack reluctantly
agrees to Nimitz's request. They arrive at Camp Teekee Peekee. After Jack's
past reaction to Pete's "stories," Pete isn't exactly thrilled about
Jack going. They have a "discussion" in the car on the way up to the
camping site. After they unpack, the crew meets and brainstorms about where
they should go to spot UFOs. Nimitz once saw an Unsolved Mysteries episode where
some fishermen spotted a UFO out on the lake. Since they are close to a lake,
it's decided that's their plan of action. Later on, Nimitz asks Jack when would
be a good time to spot UFOs. Jack has no idea, since the only UFO he knows about
has crashed! Just to shut Nimitz up, Jack makes up a time so that he can spend
some time alone while the TPUFOS goes UFO hunting. Nimitz has other ideas though,
and drags Jack along with him to Point Teekee Peekee. Read
"The Field Trip!"
While
walking back to the campsite, Jack gets separated from Nimitz and happens upon
"The Shipper Scouts," a rabid fanclub devoted to The X-Files. Problem
- Jack hates The X-Files and lets them know about it. The Scoutmaster isn't
exactly pleased to be told why "The X-Files sucks," so Jack gets made
fun because he's dressed up like a gray alien. Jack's usual response is to whip
out his "ray gun thingie," but he doesn't have it with him because
of his promise to Nimitz. So he does the next best thing - run away. Read
"The Shipper Scouts."
Once
again Jack gets lost in the woods, but he runs into Nimitz. At first he thinks
this is good luck, but Nimitz grabs him so that they can get into the canoe
by 11pm on Lake Teekee Peekee. Jack once again is less than thrilled to be included
in the TPUFO Society's plans. After waiting for a while, a bright light appears!
It's headed straight toward them, and Pete is convinced it's a UFO coming to
abduct him. However, it's a military helicopter directing them to leave the
area immediately. They row back to the shore. Jack has a bad feeling about all
of this, and asks Nimitz to show him a map of the area. It's just as Jack suspected
- all of this is occurring near his original crash site, but he doesn't tell
Nimitz this just yet. In the meantime, Pete wants to tell the world of his experiences,
even though the rest of the society tries to tell him it was just a helicopter.
Jack asks for Nimitz's help when they get back. Read
"The UFO Hunt."
It's
that time again! The 2000 Tikaboo Peak Titans football season is underway, and
Buster is skyhigh to start tailgating. Before the annual Titans/Maulers game,
Buster offers everybody some of his home brew featuring his "special ingredients."
Nimitz tries one, not knowing that one of the special ingredients is catnip!
Later, Jack and Buster find out that Nimitz drank all the beer! He becomes drunk
off of the alcohol and catnip, and whoops it up at the game. Unfortunately the
game ends the same way as it does every year, with Morganton beating Tikaboo
Peak U. As the gang is walking out of the stadium, Nimitz spots two aliens that
bear a striking resemblance to Jack. Jack doesn't believe Nimitz's story, thinking
he's still drunk and seeing things. Jack once again asks for Nimitz's help when
they get back home and Nimitz gets over his hangover. Read
"Remember the Titans."
Jack pulls out a map of Camp Teekee Peekee and plans on recovering his crashed vehicle with the help of Nimitz. Well, they run into a little problem. Read "Close Encounters."
And that's where I've left Tikaboo Peak. :-) Maybe someday I'll finish it.
